Programming exercises

The programming exercises should be solved in Python using the libraries NumPy, SciPy and Matplotlib. Python + libraries are installed on the computers in the CIP-Pool. For a tutorial see for instance Quickstart Numpy or try Google.

To register for this lecture + exercise classes, please use the MUESLI system. You need to register even if you have already filled out the sheet passed in the first lecture.

Sufficient conditions for acquiring admission to take the exam are
  • regular and active attendance in tutorials,
  • presenting a solution at least twice in the semester (preferrably one theoretical and one programming exercise)

Students who can certify admission in past semesters are strongly encouraged to solve the homework assignments again, although they are not required to do so. We would like to stress that the contents of the lectures can change from year to year and from lecturer to lecturer.

The final exam takes place on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, 11:15-12:45. Where: Room SR C (same room as the exercises)
  • Please have your regular ID and your student ID at hand.
  • No electronic calculation devices are allowed (including cell phones).
