Abstract: Animating Plant Growth in L-system by Parametric Functional Symbols I will present about the classes of L-systems(Lindenmayer Systems) and how to apply the L-systems to represent the plant structure. Actually,the iteration of L-system has been used to animate the plant growth but at each step of development, the plant model is not smooth and continuous. The new idea is to animate the plant growth in L-system by parametric functional symbols to the length, size and position of each component of the plant.
