Speaker : Ileana Borja Tecuatl Abstract: Searching for low energy paths between stable conformations of macromolecules An introduction to the problem of why and how to find low energy paths describing conformational changes in proteins will be given. After presenting a comparisson between several possible methods and their applications to real systems, i will introduce a system of boundary value type that i am studying at the moment as an approach to solve the mentioned task.
