Speaker : Hai-Wen Ge Abstract: Hybrid finite volume method and particle method There are many different numerical methods available for engineering simulation. Each method has its advantage and disadvantage. This talk focuses a hybrid finite volume method and particle method which takes the advantages of both two method and avoid the disadvantages of them. The motivation, application field, and basic procedure of this hybrid method is presented. Finally, the challenges of the hybrid method are discussed.
