Speaker : Jan Albersmeyer Abstract: Introduction to automatic differentation, sensitivity generation and applications. In this talk I will first give an introduction to automatic differentation and derivative generation. Afterwards I will talk about strategies for generating sensitivities for solutions of ODEs and DAEs and the principle of internal numerical differentiation (IND). Finally I will give an overview where I want apply these techniques in my project.
