Abstract: Parallel implementation of the recursive Green's function method

The parallel algorithm for the implementation of the recursive Green's function method will be presented. The latter is used for the evaluation of transport properties of quantum systems. A brief introduction of the current status of nanotechnology and our corresponding contribution will be also provided so as to motivate our project and give further perspectives. The algorithm will be also accompanied by a performance analysis for two numerical benchmarks.
