Research interests

Modeling, simulation and optimization of dynamic processes; numerical methods for large-scale constrained optimisation, optimal control, real-time optimisation and nonlinear model predictive control; numerical methods for parameter and state estimation, optimum experimental design and optimization under uncertainty; applications in aerospace, mechanics, biomechanics and robotics; chemical engineering, reaction kinetics, biophysics, environmental physics, systems biology and epidemiology.
